It's not your face. It's the fixture.
LED mirrors from Dyconn, Eurofase, Craftmade and Visual Comfort — delivered, wired and installed by our own licensed electricians. Two weeks, start to finish.

You've noticed it. You look better in the mirror at the spa than in your own bathroom. Better in the dressing room than at home. It isn't your imagination and it isn't your face — almost every bathroom in America is lit by a single fixture in the ceiling, behind you, casting every shadow straight down onto the one place you're trying to see.
An LED mirror puts the light where your face is. That's the entire trick, and it's how the best spas and salons have lit mirrors for years.

What you actually get
- Light that comes from around the mirror, not from behind your head — no shadows under the eyes, nose or chin
- Three color temperatures on most models: warm for evening, daylight for makeup, cool white for detail work
- Available with a heated anti-fog pad built into the back — the mirror stays clear through a shower, no towel
- Touch on/off and dimming on the glass itself
- Wall-mount or recessed, from compact up to full-wall
The part nobody tells you
These mirrors run on low-voltage LEDs. They cannot be put on a standard wall dimmer — the manufacturer's own documentation says the power supply won't work properly if the AC source is altered through a wall dimmer. Wired into the existing dimmed vanity circuit, it will flicker, buzz, or fail, and that's not a warranty claim.
Most bathrooms also have no junction box behind the mirror. The anti-fog pad and the LEDs need hardwired power, which means a new circuit run to the right spot and properly terminated.
That's not a DIY afternoon. That's an electrician.
One more thing worth saying plainly: a lighted mirror is not meant to be the only light in the room. It's a layer. We'll tell you what else the room needs — or that it doesn't need anything.
What it costs
- Labor starting at $495: we run the circuit, add a switch and install the mirror. The mirror itself is extra. Larger mirrors that take two installers cost more.
- Old mirrors can be hauled away.
- Lifetime labor warranty on everything we install.
Bundle & Save 15%. Buy it from Fan Diego, have our licensed electricians install it, and take 15% off the product. Through November 30, 2026. Installation labor isn't discounted. Excludes Big Ass Fans.
Estimates for electrical work are free. Want help choosing? Book a design consultation: an ALA-certified lighting specialist comes to you for $195, and $145 goes toward your installation when you book within 60 days.

LED mirror questions
What is an LED mirror?
A mirror with LED lighting built in around it, so the light comes from where your face is instead of from a ceiling fixture behind you. Most models also have touch on/off and dimming on the glass, and many add a heated anti-fog pad.
What color temperature should a bathroom mirror be?
Most of the mirrors we install offer three: warm for evening, daylight for makeup, and cool white for detail work. You switch between them on the glass.
Can an LED mirror go on a dimmer switch?
Not a standard wall dimmer. These mirrors run on low-voltage LEDs, and the manufacturer's documentation says the power supply won't work properly if the AC source is altered through a wall dimmer. Wired into a dimmed vanity circuit, it will flicker, buzz or fail. Dimming is done on the glass instead.
Can you install one where there's no outlet or junction box?
Yes. Most bathrooms have no junction box behind the mirror. We run a new circuit to the right spot and terminate it properly, so the LEDs and anti-fog pad are hardwired.
Do LED mirrors really stay fog-free?
Mirrors with a heated anti-fog pad built into the back stay clear through a shower, no towel needed.
How much does it cost to install an LED mirror in San Diego?
Labor starts at $495 to run the circuit, add a switch and install the mirror; the mirror is extra. Larger mirrors that take two installers cost more. Bundle & Save 15% on the mirror through November 30, 2026. Estimates for electrical work are free. Lifetime labor warranty on everything we install.
Can an LED mirror be the only light in a bathroom?
It isn't meant to be. A lighted mirror is a layer. We'll tell you what else the room needs — or that it doesn't need anything.
